Zinsalor's Quest

by Zinsalor Sirith

Zinsalor has been harkened unto by the greatest Dragon Turtle. I spent the last several days swimming in the tropical waters, South of Vallen. Standing on the beach.

It's almost winter, the wind is frigid, but it's a sunny beautiful day. As I meditate on the bach.

"Wait, wait!" - I see a little Kobold. Yellow/brown, keen red/yellow clothes, helmet made of tree trunk. - the Druid Neophyte, Krik.

Master Verdanar is a hardass.

Moody, likes manner. Farts a lot.

Meditative outcrop of the Islar Wallens.

Islar Bullettes, basking in the sun on the beach, inbetween

Implacable Golden Dragon, water bending, Karate Kid style, unmoving in the wind

I help Krik jump the gap. He talks to Verdanar in Draconic, Verdanar says nothing.

"He says Laconically, "Name?" - Zinsalor

"Purpose?" - To save my people

"Circle?" - of the Great Moon.

He speaks in the most strict and unneccassary druidic, "Why do you wear metal? - it reminds of me of my Family

"Tell me they true purpose here?" - to save my people

"Vamdros?"

I beat Verdanor's ass

ARCHdruid Crick

part of a clan of Kobolds - he escaped into the Ocean. Dragonborn named Ashmir saved him. The Coastal Wardens gave me purpose.

The Dragon Turtle guards the Islar Trench.

Eerie bastion of green

Kelp forrest

rich, dark green

swim out to the Great Islar Trench, led by a Water Elemental.

Massive claws extend, a MegaKrill

"Well done my children" - after we defeat it.

"Anf yuou Zinsalor Serith, have harkened out to me - for my reach extends. I know they have taken them into slavery. The megakrill should not be allowed to pollute the world.

"I have lived for a hundred score years ago. I have seen the water of the cities polluted with their filth. I have seen the ocean used a conduit of war. The Tritons before me were wiped out. You can imporove, you can worsen. Strive to learn. Do not sulk, my child. All people are as natural as any animal. The seal sometimes plays with its food. You remind me of my own Companion once...Veantur. When I was small, I was his companion. He has died, and I have outgrown him. But I have not forgotten him. I offer one of my children of the sea. A Sea Bond. The eggs of the Dragon Turtle are no more...I am the last dragon turtle...but you may bond with an Islar Bulette. With this being...perhaps you should always maintain a connection to the sea, no matter what darkness you plunge yourself into."

One last thing... I knopw little of what lies beyond the rifts in the trenches. The ocean can only be transpoed through the rock wihtin the waste., tunnels underneath the ground. Waters are dangerous. You may use them as a conduit. Go then...succeed the old lords of the Sea. Whose body lies adrift in another Sea. Having defended this realm from the Astral Dreadnaught. Never lose (forget) the sea, or yourself, or your friends.

Become an honorary member of the Coastal Druid. Do the bonding ritual that has not been undergone in decades.

Krik: I often forget what the Dragonturtle says. I sometimes forget too that humans are animals too. We are also of the natural world. He sighs.

Nature is cruel. Often it has no meaning.

"Follow me...become an honorary member of the Coastal Wardens."

The sphere of bonding.

Heavier than it looks.

"Os Vidrean. Live & grow."

I kneel. Veerdanar peeks above me. A dozen other druid practiononers gather. Krik puts another small crawl on my forehad. Druuid opf the Coastal Ward. Stood for 6,000 years. First sea elf since Veantur.

You must give to it as it gives to you.
