It's pronounced, "THIRST"

by Finnan Baltheir

So we went from Bird Town to Kobald Town. Which I can still get behind but it's a weird energy. Apparently Ethar has rallied the kobalds here. Oh and half the party is still addicted to mushrooms. Either way I decided to have fun with the kobalds that swarm this town. Crowd surfing, engaging with the kobalds, apparently feeding them. They seem to like it in this town so I decided to make signs, with the help of Ethar, stating:
-Big Kobald Energy Required at "Feast Town", add value for whatever you take.

With some creative translating we made the signs, adding one dragonic sign stating "Kobald King lives here", and we place them outside of town so that Kobalds can find their way here. We continue on to Myrefell, winter is gripping tighter and tighter on the kingdoms as we go.

On another note, Caldera uses incredible restraint as I witnessed him try to have Omar fix Caldera's clothes. It was a process.

As we get in eyesight of Myrefell we could hear yelling which was a little unexpected. Soon we see a bloody battle occuring at the west gate, goblins wash against the defenders of Myrefell and we spring into action. Leaping off the cart I cry out "We are the Heroes of Myrefell and we have come to assist you!" and rushed the goblins casting faerie fire and assisting my allies. Goblins swarm around me as I lead the charge. Rusty scimitars digging into my arms and I hear the shockwave of Hurm's shatter spell bursting a few of the monsters into gibs about me. Caldera soon joins fray turning their sword into blazing lightning; quick work mincing through these creatures. Pushing further into this angry sea of green we realize rapidly that the goblin forces have their own magic wielders who sling rays of fire at us. However this is barely a candle to our own Ethar. Our own kobald companion fires a fireball from behind and obliterates an incredible amount of goblins and orcs that we have to take a pause to see what happened.

These goblins haven't had a chance to consider the terror of this fight and we sweep in to clean up the stragglers on the field. Sadly there was no mercy given. Reinforcing from the rear, hobgoblins close ranks and push us with their advance; the fight becomes more challenging and the Myrefell guard take heavy losses. The battle is over and we manage to slaughter the remaining goblins. Wiping the blood from my face and off my clothes as best I can, I join the others and we enter the city.

Ah, what a sweet sight to see, Myrefell is where my adventure began and once again we return to the inn where it all started. We recognized a few faces, some of them are people we aren't too fond of, and some were fond acquaintances. Aurnel informs us that his betrothed, whom was murdered, is the daughter of the local villain of the black market. Before kicking that hornets nest we try and get our companions cured of their addiction and manage to gain the assistance of the cleric to Selune. Oh wow she's so pretty. Too pretty. I'm struggling to pay attention, pretty. I don't even notice the fact that although she was able to cure my companions but not remove all their cravings. "I wonder if I payed her 100 gold pieces if she would dunk me in the pool". On another note the priestess adorned those taking part in this curing ritual with ceremonial robes, and I recognized them, I recognized them from a vision I have from the future.

Our group now heads for the Slatebrand Manor to confront the victims father for details about the murder and get answers for Aurnel.
