Final Project y4

For Butas final project he would be figuring out how to use and make use of a recently required feat Pact Of Blade
 
To start he would practice summoning and desummmoning a simple kitchen knife. If that goes well than he would move onto slightly larger blades. Once he feels he has a pretty good handle on that he would probably be searching for some bladed weapons training from some of his peers. Most likely Sventisko or possibly someone from the dunestriders because it seems alot of them have some interesting looking blades. For the actual demonstration itself he would be attempting to perform a magic Kata(a term used in karate where you do many different martial arts move in a specific order) of sorts. Utilizing the summoning desummoning of different types of blades and executing prober blade strikes.
 
 
That was the plan. In practice however when trying to summon the blade he just couldn't quite his mind enough with the Jester constantly whispering his whims in and desires in his head. The best he could get was a short fizzle and than nothing. He just couldn't get the blade to form in his mind to summon it. After trying to figure out the problem Buta realized he couldn't form the blade in his so he spent days drawing out how the blade should look, the diameter of the blade, the point, the hilt and the guard. He even tried making a woodcarving of one so he could feel it in his hand. The second attempt of conjuring a blade he was able to get a blade to come out fairly consistently but it didn't come out as a good blade. It was either too small, dull or rusted or the grip didn't hold up good. But it was a blade. Luckily for step two Buta was able to get a hand from Cuan with training his melee fighting against one of his Steel Defenders. Which went fairly well Buta was able to learn the basics of sword fighting and begin on slightly more advanced teachings. It took him a lot longer to get a handle on those however and don't always perform those completely accurate. Buta spent many months preparing his Kata for his performance and felt pretty confident when the time came for his demonstration. But when it was time for him to perform his act. He couldn't stop noticing all the eyes on him. What if he made a mistake what if they didn't like his act. What if they made fun of him like at the Abbey. What if they hurt him again. What if he got put back in the pits. What if, what if, what if... Than when opened his eyes he saw the straw dummy he was using to demonstrate completely destroyed and beaten clearly in a non elegant fashion and the Jesters horrible laugh echoing in his mind. Turns out he did show he can use a sword just wasn't as subtle as he had hoped.
 
Buta didn't feel to great about how his project went. He was more concerned about his ability to perform for the Kisjan when they needed him. So even after his project he kept working on being able to execute this ability more effectively. He also would keep practicing his bladed weapon fighting whenever able.
