2nd Judicday of Spring's Birth, Second Age 1852: I've met with the team picked by Lady Aria. Each one of them an interesting character. Lady Aria and Lady Talindra I've already met before while I served Lady Cavatina. Anaresi helped Lady Talindra with some magical research. Aelorna is starting a new life, don't we all? Bahzel said something about his goals changing, I suppose the cleansing of Winter did that to many elves. Daereth is obviously devoted to Lady Aria, but what are his goals? Is he as loyal as he claims or is he a plant? Nymeria is interested in rebuilding the lost cities, a goal we all share, though she seems more practical about it. Zaelith is quiet, will have to keep an eye on him. And of course Lady Aria, she's in charge of this whole expedition. Lady Cavatina supplies us, but there appear to be little warm feelings between mother and daughter.
The ships are loaded, Zhyrissa and I are sharing quarters and supplies so at least the trip should not be too boring, if not experimenting with alchemy, we can experiment with other things.
2nd Seojungday of Spring's Birth, Second Age 1852: Lady Aria sensed magical energies in the air so we made a landing to investigate. The area was forested, but unlike nearly everywhere else in this blasted land, there were signs of plant life dotted around. Putting our minds together, it was decided a Spring Ley Line was the cause of this unusual bloom. The day was coming to an end so we made camp on the shore instead of returning to the ship and Daereth tried cooking the local mushrooms. I've had some bad food before, but this beat it all. I hope that it was because of the strange mushrooms, but perhaps Daereth is just a lousy cook. He was delegated to duties other than cooking in the future.
3rd Qindirsday of Spring's Birth, Second Age 1852: We were caught in a storm. I think I spent most of it bent over the railing, puking up last week's food. I swear I could taste those mushrooms again. Two of our ships were lost, but we didn't see any wrecks so Lady Aria decided to follow the plan and continue on, expecting the other ships to return to the route and rejoin us when they are able.
4th Seojungday of Spring's Birth, Second Age 1852: Some of us were able to sense something similar to the beginning of the trip, so Lady Aria called for another landing. With the experience from the previous one we were able to identify another Lay Line, this time of Fire, and opted to return to the ships for the night as there was little to forage and we didn't want the repeat of our last camp. By the time we were done with exploration, the two lost ships rejoined the fleet.
4th Respitesday of Spring's Birth, Second Age 1852: We have reached the edge of the ruins yesterday, and will be sending a forward party to scout ahead and find a place to make a proper landing for the whole expedition. We don't know exactly what to expect, other than undead, as they roam the entirety of Hrivenor that is yet to be reclaimed. It's going to be a long day.
