Session 13 (5/2/23)

Harley is making soup the night after they talk to Katrina when it starts to phase into the red stew again. He hears someone call, “Meadow” as if looking for someone. He looks around and sees a frail elven woman (the same one who got her face bashed in last time he was here). The architecture has changed back to the stone and stained-glass interior that he’s seen before. She asks if the stew is ready. Harley says that he is making mushroom soup, and she is surprised by this. She states that there are no mushrooms around. He brings her the bowls of soup that have become stew, and she is thankful. He asks her name, and she says, “good point. What is my name?” She says his name is Meadow, and he denies this. He asks where they are, and she answers, Abucheg. He looks out the window and sees people walking on walls and flying ships in the sky. He walks away from the woman and into the kitchen.
 
Shomari wakes up and sees a house that is clearly not of Vaicross architecture, and it is outside (not under the mountain). He sees a human toddler outside walking around with his parents. The family doesn’t see or acknowledge Shomari even after he greets them from a distance. He walks toward the house and opens the door. They immediately acknowledge the door opening and walk inside (walking through Shomari in the process). The child kind of senses Shomari. The parents look toward Shomari, seeing outside, and become fearful. The woman magically closes the door and rushes to hide. Shomari sees 5 men carrying rifles walking toward the house. The family hides in an underground hidey hole.
 
Sacha wakes up and stretches, noticing he is a child (about 4) in his childhood bed. He hears shouting outside his room. He leaves the room to investigate the shouting. He sees his two oldest siblings (Paveith and Tarvek with Vegotcha) at a door with their mom (Laria) audible on the other side. He asks his brothers what is happening. “They’re going to take her.” They say with tears in their eyes. When asked who, “Alani.” Shacha does not recognize the name.
 
Crystal is walking next to the handsome Danil toward his house. They start kissing and things start getting physical. Crystal’s perspective exits her body and she sees Danil’s eyes turn black.
 
Azora wakes up floating about 1 foot off the ground. She sees her younger self in her childhood home holding her mother’s hand and Mir’ Diviner Sabal is there. Vaconia asks, “Seer Sabal, is this person here?” His eyes are not sewn shut, and they start emitting light. He looks at the floating Azora and says that someone who may be able to help is here. Her mother doesn’t want Azora to end up like her and gives Azora a kiss on her forehead leaving a symbol behind. Her mother’s gown starts swirling, “I think he's here! He’s coming for me!”
 
Harley sees random people coming and going. There have always been people here, but he is seeing them for the first time. Someone bumps into him and says, “I’m so sorry Ryon.” He exists the manor and sees lots of tall buildings. There are people drinking thick coffee. The sky is pink/purple. He looks at his hands and sees that they are dark tan. He goes back inside and finds a mirror. His face is unrecognizable. A dark-skinned man with a goatee, green eyes, long, wavy hair with a side cut, and noble robes. He hears a voice, “Mr. Jouvenet? Ryon? Should I turn your chili down? Your mom was asking about you.”
 
Harley: “Who are you
 
Ettani: “My name is Ettani. I am one of your household servants. You’re acting strange. It might not be a good idea, but do you want me to get your father?”
 
Harley: “I seem to have forgotten everything.”
 
Ettani: “You haven’t forgotten like your mom, right?” (she has Alzheimer’s)
 
Harley: “What’s my name?”
 
Ettani: “Ryonel Jouvenet.”
Harley: “Who’s Meadow?”
 
Ettani: “That’s your mother’s name for you.”
 
Shomari sees one of the men pouring the contents of a tankard around the outside of the house. Shomari hears them say, “We can’t let the queen and king consort escape.” Shomari writes on the ground to warn them. The child sees it and draws the mom’s attention to the message “Run, Fire.” The family tries to run out of the door. A man with a rifle is waiting there and forces them back inside. The house crumbles in the fire. A man emerges from the nearby woods wearing decadent armor (a swan knight). He says, “I hope the lady was right. She said the Soulborn was here.” Then the boy emerges from the fiery rubble, surrounded by blue flames and unphased. Shomari suddenly notices a man with a gun to his face.
 
Sacha watches his brothers in distress because Alani is being taken. Child Sacha, imbued with the power of Adult Sacha, kicks open the door. He sees a man in grey wizard robes and a blank mask say to his parents, “She must come with us. Your nobility is meaningless.” He sees a Vai girl about 4-5 years old.
 
Laria: “You can’t take my daughter.”
 
Sacha: “Wait! I have a sister?”
 
Alani: “We’re twins!”
 
Masked man: “Don’t make me take both.”
 
There are 7 wizards in the room in masks. One of them, “The Unchanged do not allow dark shifters to exist.” Alani displays the ability to shift by sticking out her tongue and making it forked.
 
Masked man: “It’s okay, you won’t remember her anyway.” And a spell is cast. Sacha is now his adult self, and one of the men walks toward him.
 
Crystal sees, from the third person, her body open from a seem in the middle of her body and a blades in the shape of a flower emerge. A mouth opens from the flower and consumes the magically frozen Danil. Obsidian (Crystal with black eyes) turns toward Crystal (the third person view) and says, “That was tasty. We should do this again.” Crystal sees her sisters standing around her. Obsidian rushes toward Crystal.
 
Azora sees her mother create a runic shield around her. Sabal says, “Protection is waiting. They are here and will save us. No one is getting drained today.” A swirling energy thing starts heading toward adult Azora.
 
Harley sees a mushroom and pulls it from the ground, but a being is pulled up with it. It has sharp teeth, small eyes, and curly ears. It rushes to attack Harley.
 
All characters get attacked simultaneously. Patience steps forward shouting, “I won’t let you hurt anyone again!” and shatters Obsidian in one attack, breaking a hole through “reality” at the same time. He steps forward and sees (Harley) being attacked by a curly eared creature. Patience destroys the curly eared creature, opening another hole into Azora’s scene. The others defeat their opponents, opening holes to each other. As the last opponent is defeated, they all see each other’s experiences. Seer Sabal says to Azora, “It will be nice to see you again.”
 
The individual scenes fade to background, and a large head with tendrils coming out of its face each with a head at the end appears. The head is held up by a tubular body with small, grotesque appendages. They quickly dispatch the creature. Harley wakes up on the kitchen floor, confused because he never sleeps.
