Due to a lack of talent when it came to using her druidic abilities Caiphyra was sent out into the world by her parents, who were ashamed of their daughters inability, to hone her druidic abilities. During her travels Caiphyra became gravely injured and was taken in by a blacksmith who felt pity for the injured elf. After recovering from her injuries, Caiphyra began to help the blacksmith with his work. In doing so she discovered a love of smithing and used her druidic power to assist in making all sorts of objects.
 
Caiphyra, at least for the time being, is content to hone her skills as a smith. She hopes that she will be able to take the time to return home soon, if only for a brief time. Although she knows that if she were to return home without gaining more power and perfecting her skills as a druid it would bring shame to her family.
