Khajiit does not divulge this information readily. But the truth is that Khajiit is not this Hacan's real name. Khajiit is the codename, a title in the old language for "trader" and is used as the cover-name for the identity he is currently forced to use. Whoever Khajiit was is not important. That person is a wanted fugitive of multiple organizations. What is important is this:

Khajiit is Keleres now, forsworn of all Hacan trade clans. But the Hacan Khajiit was before the day it happened was a member of clan Black Sand, adopted into the family against his will as a mere cub. Life was always hard on the chaotic streets of Harcarun, it was work for Black Sand or be buried beneath cold sand. But Khajiit does not talk of those days. Khajiit doesn't talk about what, or who, freed him the Black Sand Clan. However, then there is his relationship with the Trade clans. None knowingly recognize him, but a perceptive person will pick up on the knowing looks the Hacan Traders of the various clans give him - maybe he is not as "forsworn" as it might seem.

Khajiit was placed in Keleres Cohort Theta-2 without consent as well. The Tribunii did not seem to take to Khajiit well. Khajiit knows not why. But for now they are traveling the stars, and that means there are profits to be made.

Wealth & Financial state

Khajiit is a trader. He operates legally and maintains his license for trade despite being part of the Keleres. He is always looking for a deal, and seems to help out merchants more willingly than other folk. He clearly has lucrative business interests he has invested in because he is constantly being approached by strange individuals and being given pouches of Aurei.
