Personal history

My father was a pirate captain and my mother was a disgrace noble. I was born in a port town, where my mother had ran to escape her family. I have no siblings of my own that I know of, though I never met my mother, so I may have half-siblings. I was raised on a pirate ship that my father was the captain of, and I've never been further inland than the port towns we stop at. I was raised on the sea, raised with my crew as my life, and instead of growing to hate the pirate life, I grew to love it. I became an adventurer because it was time for me to build my own crew and my own reputation, out from under my father's shadow. In my teens, I fought a sea monster with my crew and it poisoned me badly. Everyone though I would die, but I pulled through.

Education

I've had zero formal education, no schooling and really no time for such things. I only learned to read and write from my father teaching me how to navigate maps and cities, make communications, and keep captain's logs.

Employment

I have no professional experience outside of sailing, pirateering, and trading stolen goods. I can do most manual labor tasks, something I became accustomed to during my childhood, when no one trusted me to do the more complex work.

Most of my firsts happened with my old crew - first fight, first kill, first raid, first woman...

(Technically "Romantic") I've never been in a committed relationship, nor have I seen an example of one. With my conception being an ill-advised tryst, and most of my experiences being the same, I have very little concept of settling down.
