Personal history

Not much is known about Cassian, however, his past his closely tied to Torin's. He's got as much at stake as Torin if the Necromancer succeeds in finding the magic of music, and repairs the harp. He has as much claim to the throne as Torin, and no one understands who he is, not even the old advisors to the late King and Queen.
But he's a loose cannon. No one knows who he's helping or where his loyalties lie. Currently, he works on the council with Necro, and he does the old crone's bidding, all the while doing just enough to always throw kinks in the plans.

Education

There is no record of him attending Hallow (the university in the Otherworld) but he's as knowledgable as a senior student, with more of a grasp on his magic than an apprentice under the most powerful members of the society.

Employment

He's working with the Shadow Council to obtain the harp and to find the soul that is needed to repair it.

He's risen to the top of the Council in silent measures and rather unexpectedly as well.

He was the one that unleashed the Necromancer. He's the one that threw the Otherworld into shadows.

Cassian has been boxed in for his entire life, expected to work in a certain role and is completely aware of how he is being used and manipulated. This has forced him to become just as manipulative and distrusting of people around him.
