Personal history
He was born to a high-class family, who's parents were never particularly involved in his life, to begin with. He grew up with a slew of nannies and tutors, which meant that when he approached his parents with the proposition to take an internship with a "company" overseas, they happily obliged and have stayed out of his way since.
Cyrus lost several friends to governmental experimentation, which drove him to align himself with the Syndicate. However, his parents have only ever supported the governments push to create a "safer world" as far as Supers are involved.
