Fargrim Rakenkrak

Dwarven archeologist and lore master. His work was focused mainly on dwarven civilizations in the south pre-cataclysm. He was invited to Exur to examine the pre-cataclysm ruins discovered in the north. This was an exciting and yet dangerous opportunity.

Personal history

When asked about his past, Fargrim will speak of his upbringing in Uvolterum in the The Grand Duchy of Kadmos. He will say he had a good childhood, but always leaned toward the more intellectual pursuits as opposed to the martial ones. History became a bit of a passion for him, and he dedicated his life to finding out more about dwarves pre-cataclysm.

Of course he couldn't find all that much in Uvolterum, so once he exhausted his work there he made his way to southernmost Dwarven kingdom of Vonkur. There he continued his studies and made some exciting discoveries. The last five years has done some traveling in the Duchy collecting some interesting artificts and stories.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Fargrim is always excited to talk about his work on Thedren Silverlight. He discovered some ancient tablets in a ruin near Priamos in the Duchy. They point to some revelations about Thedren that few dwarves know. He has tried to get this information public but lacks the definitive proof of the matter. He hopes that Elisira's quest will bring more information to light.

Fargrim is obviously dedicated to his work on dwarven history. He seems to care for little else.

Fargrim is well read about dwarven history. He is always eager to learn more, especially if it supports his findings. His skills with multiple languages allow him to speak with just about anyone he meets. He has a keen mind for deciphering the written word and applying metephors to the real world.

Vices & Personality flaws

Fargrim tends to feel overlooked among his peers. Because of this, he will not shut up about his tablet discoveries and the complexities and dangers of finding them. He gets very technical, and since he isn't much of a storyteller, his descriptions are dry and dull.

While he has traveled quite a bit, Fargrim doesn't seem to like it. He is not very courageous, and tends to grumble when he is uncomforable (which is just about any time he isn't underground, seated at a desk and reading a book). He will hide, whine and grouse if caught in a fight. He will expect the more martial types to "do their job and kill these fools".
