The Viceroy of The Land of the Silver Star, Ragnar is an architect with a taste for outdoors and adventure uncommon in nobility. He wears a House Garess dueling cape and leather armor in the colors of his house. He carries two rapiers; one provided by his family, and an enchanted silver one specialized for certain hard-to-kill creatures. Ragnar spends a lot of time making and updating maps of the lands he has travelled, as well as architectural designs.
 
Ragnar graduated from the New Stetven university with a focus on architecture and cartography. His education was fairly broad, notably including alchemy, city planning and government administration. He is experienced with a rapier, and is surprisingly quick on his feet despite his considerable size.
 
Following the death of his cousin Blevin Garess, Ragnar is concerned that there may be a plot against the heirs of House Garess, himself included.
 
Perhaps unrelated, Ragnar is a bit unnerved as of late after an assassination attempt by Nyrissa.
 
In a fight against Vordakai, Ragnar was hit with a powerful paralyzing curse which stopped his heart for several minutes before a panacea was administered and brought him back to life.

Dreamwalking

Ragnar has found himself sharing a dreamscape with Nyrissa on multiple occasions. The first occasion was unintentional, when recovering immediately following Vordakai's death. On the second occasion, he tried to seek out Cherry, but found himself with Nyrissa again. It is unknown if this is a latent ability or just an unhappy coincidence.
