A dwarven Forgemaster cleric who loves to make things and bring honor to Torag. His clan, Skjegge, is hated by Torag, and has been outcast. Other dwarves are generally unwilling to associate with them.
 
Avarice is fiercely protective over his friends, who he views as practically family, and has vowed to protect them to the death. He is particularly fond of and protective towards Kiede / Samuel.
 
In the weeks after returning from The Inconsequential Debates, Avarice has become very upset and given up working in favor of drinking. It seems likely he didn't appreciate what he heard regarding his family.
 
Ezvanki Keeg found Avarice attractive without a beard.
 
It is said that he held his ground in an arm-wrestling match against Amiri Giantslayer for a startling amount of time.
 
Torag will prevent other dwarves from helping Avarice, even healing. However, he has Torag given Avarice blessings (likely for his conquest of Vordakai and destruction of a shrine to the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse), so it seems Avarice is on the right path to forgiveness.
 
While the Nomen Centaur are not known to welcome bipeds, the recovery of Skybolt and Xamanthe Silverfire swayed a Centaur smith enough to talk shop with Avarice, teaching the dwarf a few things he can implement into his own crafting.
 
Avarice wants to reverse-engineer golem cores to figure out how to make them himself.
