our adventurers will continue to explore the twin towns
Having escaped the clutches of the Duelist Noble, our party find themselves entering the twin towns of Oakhaven and Silverbrook. Finn has suggested that the party head towards Westharbour on the coast of Emberfall. Gini has challenged the group to get him the belt of Vex a skilled mercenary. Poppy hasn't got her badger skin hat yet. The memories of the mines are still in their minds, do they stay in the area, are they safe, should they help others escape, or is it their bad luck and let them rot!
The lone carriage stood precariously on the dilapidated remains of the bridge, its wheels half-submerged in the rushing waters below. The once-confident guards, now in disarray amidst the cold depths, their uniforms weighing them down in the water and their weapons scattered. In the chaotic aftermath , Poppy , Valen, and Finnegan instinctively reached for the nearest objects to aid them on their journey. Poppy, with her nimble fingers, hastily grabbed a sturdy bag lying nearby, its worn leather promising utility for carrying essential supplies. Valen, driven by divine purpose, reached out and clenched a mace that had fallen from the grasp of a fallen guard, feeling the weight of justice in his hands. Meanwhile, Finnegan, ever resourceful, seized a gleaming halberd that had come loose during the crash, its imposing blade hinting at the protection it could provide. With their newfound belongings in hand, our heroes stood ready to face the unknown, their chosen tools serving as symbols of their resilience and determination in this uncharted chapter of their lives. The echoes of their futile cries hang in the air, mingling with the sounds of rushing water and rustling leaves. Our heroes, dripping wet and catching their breath, find themselves in this unexpected moment of freedom, the bridge serving as a threshold between their oppressive past and the unknown expanse of Aetheria that awaited them.
