The scavengers have reached Jeykler the location of the second lab but have no clue about reaching or even finding the lab now they are here.
From Maragarth the party is only a short 3 day journey to Jeykler and possibly the second lab and maybe a second confrontation with Jacquiline. and the hope that they can stop the release of the plague all over again.
After realizing that the target may be the Aul'daran rangers to weaken the kingdoms defences before another plague is unleashed the party quickly decides to make a detour to the lodges closest to their current location.
Leaving Banderez behind the party head out toward the second lab. with they get there in time and what awaits them when they arrive.
Do the PC search for Thomm's wayward cousin or leave him to his fate. the stop over in Banderez is proving to be more problematic than the group would like.
The party must decide what to do next, do they team up with the mercenaries and/or the paladin and healer. Once decided their path leads them to Thomm's hometown of Banderez, what awaits them there, it has been a while since his last visit. Their ultimate goal still remains Jeykler and Galador's second lab.
Once the immediate threat was dealt with the party has a deep discussion regarding their next course of action. ultimately deciding to find Galador's second lab in hope of preventing another Iridesh and also maybe catching up to Jacqueline.
The parties discussions of what to do next are interrupted by several resounding explosions with rock and mortar raining down from above. Brother Harvey immediately goes to investigate, leaving the party to make decisions of their own.
In the depths of the Gonmar Vault, the scavengers encounter an AEU student named Jacqueline. Jacqueline was studying under the formally thought to be deceased Professor Galador. She was in fact a serpent folk and attacked the party. what was she researching and how did Professor Galador survive the plague? The party must first defeat Jacqueline to get answers.
The scavengers head toward Gronmar Castle for information. what will they say, will they help with the diary, and are the papers worth anything.
The party organises to leave Xontarvik for Gonmar Castle but is everyone really ready to leave.
With so party members busy, the remaining look for something to pass the time.
Deep in the wood the party is facing off against a pack of corrupted wolves. the reward for victory is the relative safety of Xontarvik but with the barbarian still far from fighting fit and the party already having to destroy 3 allies as they turned to undead due to the corruption of the plagues safety still seems a long way off.
Caught in another battle for their lives the party must now decide if they return to civilization of continue to explore the ruins of Iridesh.
