Session 11: The Chase Begins Report

General Summary

Travel toward the 2 lab was interupted when Trong was captured in the middle of the night by a group of slavers. Tracking them down the party attack the slaver camp. the initial attack failed to subdue the localized guards and alerted the remainder of the slavers who arrived shortly after. Just as the battle seemed to be going against the party thier luck turned, they were able to free some of the prisoners and the were able to quickly able to dispatch the 2 initial guards as well as Dekash (the groups leader) and Fharlin (the healer) and well as a Duergar Orgtarg. once Orgtarg fell the remainder of the slavers seemed to wake out off some kind of enchantment and quickly called for parly. Once the tension lowered enough for communication, the "slavers" turned out to not be slavers but mercenaries, initial hired in Torndar but were quickly enchanted and they have been "collecting" people for this Orgtarg since. The prisoner included a Paladin, hunter and a healer. during the battle the hunter Jarmil was killed. The session ended with Trong slowly coming to and the three parties descussing thier next moves. The paladin had initially hired the hunter and healer to help with his crussade in the plague lands and the mercenaries now without a leader or healer, hundreds of miles from the lands they know.
