Session 7: Are you ready yet

General Summary

The group continues to run small errends, managing to gain the reward for Sir Darion's sword, healing some wounds and doing some shopping. Finally gathered together in the Goats Trail Inn and prepares to head off in the morning. The party sets off, with new member Hammond in tow, travelling along the river with Grakh as their guide. In the middle of the second night the group was attacked by a swamp shambler, a plant like creature normally found further up stream. With a bit of desparation and a lucky dagger throw, the creature heartwood was pierced and it collapsed into a pile of unmoving vines. Now depleted on recources and once again bruised and beat up they push forward toward Gronmar Castle as returning to Xontarvik would pose just as much a risk as pushing on.
