With most of the party (minus Lynx) delved into what they surmise to be some part of Greyons head, they start rescuing prisoners and fighting nightmares - what terrors are in store for our intrepid heroes!
Waiting in the cellar, the group has a few moments of silence to finish their dragon chess before they continue their evening...
Alive, bruised - but successful! The team of heroes had slain several nightmares in the very streets outside Greyon's home - thanks in no small part to Sig and his men. The party returned for a much-needed rest and began the day anew, where they now have a few moments to ponder what they uncovered...
Wounded and weary, the group has now faced two of the dreadful Nightmares haunting the city, and the results have been dire each time. This time armed with a better experience, and perhaps a fiery revenge, the group slowly returns underground to the origin point - Greyon's home. Will they address the leaders in power with their first-hand account in the morning? Will they search for Greyon, desperate to evaluate his involvement here? Have they forgotten they have appointments and dates at the research institute the following morning?? And why did they let Morrigan go to fetch help on her own - didn't they see what happened last time!?
When we left off last time, the party had collected intel, made new friends, and prepared for a day full of deception - an appointment with Prof. Greyon AND a date with the lovely Emryn awaiting our heroes in the morning. But as they bed down for the night, one solitary Leonin took watch over the old researcher's house... and saw great horrors emerge. Bemoans gave chase, and sent back Hester the imp familiar to warn the rest of the party! Will they be able to catch up to him in time? How will Lynx and Morrigan fair during scheduled Office Hours? Will Darian & the Furries be ready to put their best feet... erm, *Hooves forward, or will this date send them falling head over heels?
After learning many details about the various disappearances, the party has multiple avenues to pursue. After briefly questioning if it's "worth" sticking around to find out, they strategize until nightfall, ready to leap into new action in the morning - or, even later tonight!
After experiencing the nightmare, the party has renewed vigor in hunting down and speaking with those involved with the disappearances, doing anything they can to find what's going on within the Capital.
After a few day's journey with the company of thieves, and a late-night hunt, it's finally time to set foot in the seat of power of the southwestern continent...
