Kur Lheshat Nasaar Report

General Summary

It's the 17th of Olarune, 994 YK. An elite Cyran squad, led by Captain Greykell ir'Ryc, were sent to Droaam on a special mission. A Karrnathi force was searching for something in an old Dhakaani ruin. The Cyrans didn't know what the Karrns were looking for in those ruins, but their orders were simple enough: don't let any of them leave with their lives.  

• The Cyrans ambushed the Karrns, and dispatched their undead horde with little trouble. This was suspicious, and the Cyrans didn't let their guard down. This meant they were somewhat prepared when the Karrnathi counter ambush was sprung.
• It looked bad for the Cyrans, 5 of the 8 squad members were killed by the Karrnathi Undead.
• A voice rung out ordering everyone to surrender, a hooded figure emerged from the jungle.
• A medusa! and she'd brought gnolls!
• The gnolls made short work of most of the Karrns, the Cyrans surrendered.
• The medusa informed them that they were only required to get Greykell and Suradin alive, so if they cared about their soldiers, to surrender.
• They surrendered.
• The prisoners were taken to the Great Crag, and dragged before the The Daughters of Sora Kell.
• The daughters cryptically referenced they knew of the Kur Lheshat Nasaar, and had hidden it beneath the Great Crag.
• They were going to release both the Cyrans and Karrns into the catacombs, if they could find the artifact and defeat the other party, they could leave.
• Suradin got a bit aggressive so Sora Maenya put him in his place.
• "You will find your prize in the Eye of the Wolf"
• Making their way through the catacombs, they managed to avoid setting off the magical glyph traps. The hobgoblins statues were spooky.
• The Karrns had split up to cover more ground, they managed to ambush two of them. Mace took them both out at once whilst Duregh Tordannon was attacked by a spicy chicken (cockatrice).
• It took three of them, or one Mace, to dispatch the cockatrice.
• They ventured further, amongst the petrified hobgoblins, and encountered Suradin and the Karrnathi Priest.
• Mace brutally beat Suradin, but Suradin was a vampire and was regenerating.
• Suradin kicked Myric Fatefound into a trap, triggering it and almost killing the gnoll. He then picked up Greykell and threw her across the chamber.
• Greykell fell into a petrified direwolf, and noticed a glint in it's eye.
• Greykell took the stone from the direwolf's eye, activating it.
• The stone healed Greykell, and downed everybody else, turning Suradin to ash.
• Myric awoke in a room with Sora Teraza. He had developed an Aberrant Dragonmark!
• Sora Teraza led Myric to another chamber, where Mace and the other two Daughters of Sora Kell awaited. Greykell was just waking up on a table, with a throbbing headache.
• Sora Teraza said some cryptic stuff about Greykell rebuilding their home.
• Myric escorted Greykell and Mace to New Cyre, the Mourning happened while they were in the Great Crag.
