This adventure is designed to be playable in two or three hours. The characters are contracted in the Free City of Morencia by a discreet agent of the Supreme Council, with quiet pressure from the Augustine Trading Company, to investigate the death of Delvin Fearneheart, a Navigator’s Guild investigator. When Delvin is found clutching a withered eyeball, the characters are drawn into the Drowned Cisterns beneath the Water Strider Bridge, where they must uncover a hidden cult of the lich-god Vecna.
