Shirts and Circuses Report

General Summary

After talking themselves down from the plan they hatched with Sir Egangrodh Waelvor, Mehmen Ashid and Badalona Ailendogs are still keen to find a way to try and uncover any remaining cultists of Yeenoghu. Marble is particularly uncomfortable with the idea of poisoning the people of Marsahurst. 

Eventually the Five Fingers, with the aid of Astrid and Sir Egangrodh summon the people of Marsahurst and, through the eloquence of the Knight of the Garden manage to persuade all the townsfolk to lift their shirts. And no further cult tattoos are revealed. Thomas Marchant also plays at this gathering, although unsuccessfully but it is witnessed by Alexander Face who offers Thomas the service of Ulysses and Pericles, muscle to The Briar King. Alexander informs Thomas that he could arrange for Nanny Irongums to put aside their deal. Thomas, however, senses strings attached and politely declines.  
The Five Fingers make their way through to Alexander Face’s Travelling Circus & Menagerie where it is setting up outside the village. There Thomas is reunited with Brogu, the Circus’s Minotaur strongman. The heroes also visit the fortune teller who reveals herself a fraud with a crystal ball.
  But a decision lies ahead of them now. Do they stay around Marsahurst to learn more from Alexander, or push on with the ritual from Wishart's Palimpsest
