Not far from the
Ashen Hills lies the home of Nanny Irongums. A strange creature who calls herself a "keeper of secrets." Although she resembles an elderly woamn in many ways her massive size, gangly physicality and sharp teeth suggest something far from human. She lives in a bizarre hut which is a mishmash of styles, cluttered with all manner of eldritch bric a brac and seemingly forever on the point of total collapse.
Nanny Irongums knew the birth name of
Thomas Marchant and that of his companions before they even met her. She know much more about Thomas and entered into a contract with him to surrender his voice during the evenings in exchange for the secret of his heritage as the son of the archfey known as
The Briar King.
