Session 2 Report
General Summary
Having maimed and robbed their way through their first Kings Day festival at the capitol city of Craysilt, including a brilliant Spanking of the King party the obviously very precocious Stevie Vekhet (an eleven to fourteen year old child who seems to be going on thirty-three years young) led them to, our brash party of adventurers has set off on a secret quest for the The High King's Seat, by whom they have been deputized on behalf of The High Kingdom itself. Discovering the eastern frontier town of Higsby completely abandoned, the Chaotic Crusaders climbed glacial rock outcroppings, sleuthed along roadways, and deduced (using logic, of all things. Oh, and speaking with the horses. That was also really helpful) that the villagers had all left under the influence of some sort of mind control. After spending some quality casual time with Zuggtmoy, the goddess of fungus and decay, they have learned of Galbrok; the self-styled 'Necrodruid'. Using his machines, which somehow uses live humans as fuel, Galbrok has learned to take things past the point of decay, and regenerate what had once been flesh and blood with a cocktail of spores and fungi. These "necro-generated" creatures are under Galbrok's control utterly, and they all hate him for it.
Finding themselves travelling the The Dragonways along the aquamarine path, they resisted the urge to run to the defense of some poor schlub being murdered agonizingly slowly, and rescue an infant gwythaint, even tho it just may come back and drain their life-force someday. Their guiding blue light bringing them to an arcane Gateway of some sort in twelve hours time, they emerge into a clearing in the woods that has no discernable paths leading into (or, simultaneously, out of) it. Seemingly a place to rest, or even camp, with another one of those "Gateways" on the other side. And just as they began to feel somewhat comfortable, juuust as they began to step foot into the clearing, a squad of kobolds led by a warchief charges into the clearing, chattering excitedly at each other in Draconic.
