We begin our explorations of the obelisk within the Clock of Kala, discovering that the obelisk builders considered the Mlox their enemies and that both civilizations considered the other to be the aggressors and invaders in the war that destroyed their world. We also learn that the obelisks were meant to act as life rafts.
We explore the remaining areas of the sub-sub city complex, encounter beings known as Philethis (which apparently are known to show up to observe turning points in history), and report our findings with regards to the Monks of Mitos' plans and progress infiltrating the power-structure of the city to the General (aka Hamilcar's mother). The General moves quickly to root out the imposters and any who may be tempted to ally with them (due to social association) and nearly overnight the city's leadership and power structure is turned on it's head and transformed.
Fira and Yfra take the place of a couple of the imposters (fake!Whilhelm, and fake!Zuri second in command of guard), we uncover evidence of the Monks of Mitos and Kolos' plans to supplant powerful members of society and take over the city. While investigating further we disturb a cloud of spores that Fira inhales becoming "high as shit" and becoming fascinated with an ancient generator that is powering something within the complex.
The man who stole Whilhem Whethern face and life reacted badly to questioning about it, and despite clearly lieing is insisting on maintaining his lie and has called the household guards to dispose of us for him.
We take Karna to Ishlav to get a new face and find that a local self-important merchant has apparently had his face stolen.
Having found our way into the Nutrica Node we fix the datasphere process making murderous copies of the dead Karna and allow it to make a single "perfect" copy before ensuring it will not continue to produce more. This completed we need to find our way back to the material world.
We travel to Sada Emidu, the capital of Augur-Kala only to find that they are experiencing a most unusual and distressing happening of one of their deceased citizens repeatedly reappearing, alive and well only to burst into uncontrollable murderous violence that ends only with her death, again... until the cycle repeats. We offer to investigate and attempt to help stop the cycle from repeating further.
The group decides whether to do as Uala Sav asks and steal the Iron Wind samples for her to analyse.
