Stirthal

Built on the North edge of the Voil Chasm in Malevich it is one of the largest cities in The Steadfast. Mostly built on the flat plateau but some the city extends and is built down part of the cliff side, along with ancient structures that protrude from the cliffs. The cliff dwellings are most prized, and thus they are the homes and businesses of the wealthy.
The child king and his regent reside in and rule Malevich from Stirthal despite the capital traditionally being Thriest. The city itself is ruled by Governor Marrizek who claims to also rule over the entirety of the Voil Chasm.
The city guard are known as the Thyrn, they wear gold and black armor and all wield two swords, one inscribed with "Justice" and the other with "Mercy" but the common joke about the harsh and oppressive guards is that they use the first one improperly and the second rarely.
