It is twenty years into the Age of the Return, and the varied settlers and survivors of Lookout's Landing have enjoyed a relatively stable life for several years. The village and surrounding land is free of the memory-wiping Mist and the horrors it brings, and the villagers have found ways to overcome the many hazard, both natural and supernatural, of the island of Survivor's Shelf.
The villagers are content with living a stable life within the safety of Lookout's Landing. For one unlikely group of young friends, however, the world is about to get much larger..
