Ceramet

Ceramet was an amazing world of abounding magic and splendor.   On the day of The Sundering, the world of Ceramet was broken beyond recognition. A terrible cataclysmic event shook the world and changed the landscape until it was unrecognizable. And during The Sundering, many of the denizens of the planet simply vanished. On the day of The Return, they came back.   In an instant, countless people of all ages and races blinked into existence, scattered across a world that they did not recognize. They remembered nothing of events before their Return, only that something awe-inspiring and terrible had broken the world. Cultural memories persisted, such as memories of religion, language, and trade skills. But personal memories and memories of specific events were blank.   None know how much time passed between The Sundering and The Return. It was clearly enough time to turn the cities and structures into overgrown ruins: dusty skeletons of former greatness. Those Returned struggle to survive and rebuild in this strange and savage, untamed world.
