weather calendar symbol conditions
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I'd love to have the ability to add specific weatherconditions to a day in the calender. For now there's no possibility to display it to be seen directly.
Perfect would be a symbol which is displayed like the moonphases.
Depending on the world you could insert a hover-tooltip, what the specifics are - for rainy weather you could specify what kind of rain (Water? Ash? Blood? Acid? Something completely different?) for example or what temperature it is (this would be a roleplay-specific feature I'd say, since weather may change in different areas of course).
Possible weatherconditions:
- Storm/Thunder
- Rainy
- Heavy Rain
- Cloudy
- Cloudy, but sunny
- Meteors
- Mist
- Smog
- Snow
- Hail
- Windy
- Mixed weather/Miscellaneous
It would be lovely to add a short description to the condition to clarify for example, if it's blood raining or just water.
Possible additional information:
- Specific name for the condition?
- Temperature
- How light or heavy is the weathercondition?
- Windspeed
- Effects (like magical effects or physical)
- Linked article for more/specific informations
How does this feature request address the current situation?
If you want to add weather, you could just make a new entry inside the calendar, but it would be only visible as a title or you have to specifically click it.
What are other uses for this feature request?
You could define rainseasons or duration of storms for example. As a Dungeon Master you could prepare the fitting weather for the group without thinking "Was it warm or was it rainy yesterday?" You just can have a look! :) Makes documentation a lot easier and it reminds me as a Dungeon Master to talk about the weather itself more, to create a better immersion for my players.
