What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
This isn't really a pressing matter but rather a fun quality of life thing. Right now you the only feature tied to species is the ability to read more about the species. But it would be fun to be able to do more with it.How does this feature request address the current situation?
It would be fun to be able to sort all characters by species and perhaps get diagrams and statistics about how many characters exist. Or perhaps have the option on the species article of showing all characters of that race, like the people in location part of locations articles. Like I have previously stated, this is generally just useless fluff. But I think it could be fun.The Team's Response
Hello there beans! Look, we need a better way to navigate characters 100% and with the new updates on the Campaign manager this will become even more important. I have some ideas of how this can be achieved by expanding the World Community > Player characters (or what is now called that) in order to display all characters in a world - but it's not formulated just yet in mu head. that aside, a good way to tackle this would be to use tags, with the tag manager coming this will be even more powerful than it is now.

on 2021-09-08 16:43I agree that it would be nice, but something that the author can do when building the world is actually create a folder of each race, and sort the characters in there. For example, my world has the characters sorted by race and then by whether or not the appear in the story.
