Images Subcategories- Folders Image-Management
I greatly enjoy employing lots of images and and carousels, as I'm sure plenty other users do. But as my collection has expanded, my list of folders has grown too long. In fact, I've had to group images up far too generally which makes it difficult to set a carousel for some articles (ex: all of my nonhuman species are in a single file).
Being able to create subcategories or files would make it more feasible to sort out images of specific characters, species, cultures, landscapes, etc and make better use of carousels. It would also make it easier to sort new images if these files are collapsible. Having to scroll through an extensive list of folders when assigning new images is time consuming when uploading a lot of pictures.
As an example, being able to place all characters under one folder while still keeping each character in their own file/carousel would be more ideal than having one seemingly endless garble of all characters in one file or having a far too extensive list of files to shuffle through!
The Team's Response
Thanks for the suggestion! We're currently working on implementing a folder system for images. Subfolders will be part of this too.
