For context go to :: Your Dashboard > World Settings > Configuration
Everytime you save your edits on the world configuration page it refreshes the page bumping you over to the starting tab on the configuration menu of the world settings. I assume this behavior is in other places as well on WA. This should work like any other article save where auto save as you go is the norm and should not refresh the page if possible.
It's annoying to have the save/refresh kick me out of a tab that I was working on and having to click back to it if I wanna continue to edit after making some changes and seeing them live. It's a poor experience to provide a UI feature in one spot but not across the board for similar spaces inside your UI.
Auto Saving is already in the UI of articles, across all the tabs articles have, and this feature should available be across the board for a consistent user expereince in all other related spaces of WA where text field input like an article on the dashboard exist.
This became much more annoying after I got used to autosaving in articles. It's quite jarring that the Save methods aren't the same across the board.
I would LOVE to see this! Mostly because I'm often in the CSS tab, and after the refresh, you're automatically sent back to the first tab. Not a huge issue, but a minor quirk. Alternatively, if the form action could record which tab you were in during the submission, and then send you back after the refresh, that would also work (for me, at least).
