Notebooks are a fantastic place to just brain-dump ideas as they come to you. At the moment, though, it's not possible for co-authors, editors, or other writers to
see that content and participate in the brain-dumping process. (At the moment, I can see pages other authors have added to the Notebook, but if I select them, it simply says "Not Allowed.")
I'd like to see the notebook upgraded so that authors in my world are able to actually access my notes (and vice versa). As stated, I can already see that they've
created a new notes page, I just can't read the page. Being able to share these notes would streamline our workflow immensely—otherwise, we need to coordinate through external programs like Word or Google Docs, which is less than ideal.
At a surface level, at least, this implementation seems fairly trivial unless there's something under the hood that I'm just not seeing. As mentioned by another user on Discord, looks like "a bug that should be turned into an opt-in feature."
The Team's Response
This suggestion did not achieve sufficient support
Notebooks in their heart are based on a single user. This will require a total overhaul of the system thus it will require strong community support
