What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
We currently have access to find content within the Euclid editor to Find/Search for text within our articles and this works well (it even highlights everything found!) I'm asking for an additional feature to be added to this function - Replace. The Replace functionallity would allow us to quickly and easily make amendments to content without missing things.How does this feature request address the current situation?
I do not know how difficult something like this would be to add but if possible I think it would be a great addition to an already constantly improving UX (User Experience) on WA.What are other uses for this feature request?
- Ever realised you've used the h1 & /h1 BBcode when you meant to use the h2 & /h2 tags? Well, with Find & Replace, this would be resolved in a matter of seconds instead of having to manually adjust your BBcode tags.
- Find & Replace is also great if you've changed the name of one of your articles, characters, items - whatever it may be. With Find & Replace you won't have to retype the names of these things or copy paste multiple times. Just paste the old name of the article (for example) in the search bar, paste the new name of the article in the "replace" section and click a button (or however Dimitri wishes to implement it).
