What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Currently my timeline still has some holes in it. Whenever i come of with a number of connected historical events, i just make up a date to place them in my timeline. When things get more specific and i realise that i need to move the whole block of events foreward or backward in time, i have to enter edit mode for every single one of these events, which is quite time consuming.How does this feature request address the current situation?
Allowing to change dates of historical events in quick edit mode would safe a lot of time, especially when moving a large number of events.What are other uses for this feature request?

I am closing this not because it is a bad idea, it is a great idea but you will soon have a much better UI for this all together and is already planned and it will include much more than this.
