What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I think a direct "preview" for journal entries would be great. I'm the sort who likes to take advantage of my coin stash by posting globally. I play games, I pose questions, I make friends, I read others' posts. It's one of my preferred ways to engage with the community.
As I learn more about what I can do with styling tags, etc., I've begun building things in articles, then copypasta into a journal entry. But it occurs to me that eliminating this sort of fiddly annoyance is part of what WA handles best.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
Currently, there is no way to preview a journal entry except by constructing it in an article and then carrying it into the journal interface. I am hoping that because there is already a mechanism in place for previewing articles, that this could be easily carried over into the journal interface.
What are other uses for this feature request?
It's really a request for a new use of an already existing feature. :)

Good idea! This will be implemented in a future update.
