I do have to agree with you, while I've never thought of making a toy for my world I can see where you're coming from. A way around this, and I'm not a fan of this method but you could if wished, is to have it be "miscellaneous" and tag it "toy", but I would much rather prefer to have it be it's own type.

It isn't that I disagree; I don't. But I lean towards wanting a cleaner, maybe a bit more nebulous system. I'm finding it super frustrating not to be able to add my own information into what seem like (at my current stage of understanding) vital parts of templates. So, rather, it'd be nice to see something like: Household, Weapon, Artifact, Magical, etc. I wish ALL the drop down menus across the board would offer an "other" that when selected, would just open another field I could write in what I want. I'm sure there are valid reasons why things are set up the way they are. This is just wishful thinking aloud.
