#SplashChallenge

Last Tuesday, to celebrate my birthday and just for a bit of fun, I released a week-long unofficial challenge! The theme was water, as opposed to Tyrdal's Flashfire Challenge, where the theme was water. It closed midnight last night, and I ended up with 29 entries!! That's far more than I was expecting for a shorter challenge, and I'm so grateful for the people who took the time to write an entry, and felt inspired to do so.
 
  In other news, I've been working hard preparing for WorldEmber! My pledge is growing as the weeks go by. How excited are people for WorldEmber? I'm FERAL at the moment!

For the next week, my unofficial Splash Challenge is running! It's a quick thing to get people in the worldbuilding mood before the real heat kicks in with WorldEmber. There's not really any open spaces for unofficial challenges to run anymore, so I thought instead of forever pushing it back, why not just release it!
  So the start date for the Splash Challenge is today (my birthday!), and I am asking you to literally just write an article relating to water, in any way you like! It's very simple :) Good luck people!
 
  P.S. I will have a badge designed for this challenge (participants and a winner's badge), but that may be up tomorrow or the day after, considering I still need to set up my drawing tablet with my new laptop. It's a whole mess right now, but I'm getting it sorted!
