After disappearing off the face of the Earth for two months (well, one but the thing I was working on in September isn't live yet), I am... going to try to do #Spooktober! But first things first.
  The Great Beasts is my entry for the unofficial #Mystember challenge, which I just learned about by lurking on the Discord yesterday. The cool thing is that this gave me an opportunity to do an article that will now be the fodder for Spooktober, because....
  I'm going with a theme of Bestiary Entries and Antagonists, including fleshing out (hopefully) all 9 of the Great Beasts that I just put in that article.
  And that's my article hub.
  Okay, going back to hiding in a cave with the giant spiders.

Hello everyone! I had so much fun this month. Writing my reading challenge article was a bit of a struggle, but other than that I had no real issues. I wrote four articles about various places in my world in my personal August Areas challenge. I also finished a short story from a different world (made me cry a little, but that means it's good, right?) and my brother and I made up an entire plotline for our story. My other artist friend finished the header for Graviticity, so I was able to publish that after finishing it up.   I've started reading through Oniran by Jontaro and I am loving the narration style and the theme of the world. Unfortunately, my next few articles deal with some dark topics, so I can't use it in my own work just yet. Please check out that world, it is so fun. I can't figure out how to link it, but search it up or something I guess.   Looking forward to the coming month, I have another personal challenge: September Species. My first article is already in the works and I'm very excited to write it (but also sad, because they're extinct and it's not a fun story). I'm going on vacation and will have limited WiFi (and no internet) but I will write on my notes app and hopefully the article will be done when I get back. I really want to enter #Mystember, but we'll see how it goes.   Okay, I think that's long enough. I've got packing to do and some plot ideas to jot down. Have a great month everyone!

Who doesn't love an #unofficialchallenge?
  With the start of September comes the start of the first challenge run by yours truly; #Mystember! Add some mystery to your world and think about how people try to explain it.
 
  And don't forget, Tyrdal's excellent Longest Journey challenge is just around the corner...
 

And not just one! I am really looking forward to September this year; not only because I am running #Mystember, but also because of the other unmissable #unofficialchallenge is #Thelongestjourney which the very talented Tyrdal is running.
 

September is fast approaching and there are some great #unofficialchallenges coming up. Yes, I'm biased, because one of them is mine, but I want to start by shouting about Tyrdal's #Thelongestjourney challenge. It's going to be an epic episodic adventure and I truly cannot wait.
  Now, if you like a little mystery in your worldbuilding, I'm running #Mystember. Write or create anything about a mystery in your world and how people try to explain it.
