Xuta

Xuta lies on the Vilush trail, and the frequent trade through its lands has made it wealthy, from the goods themselves as well as the taxes on merchants. It is a confederation of small kingdoms, human and dragonborn tribes, and a few minotaur, drow, and orc city states. In ancient times this region was ruled by dragons, and in more recent centuries by the now disbanded Vilushan Empire. Elonn hopes to become the next conqueror, but the native people are determined to prevent this. The army is largely made of mercenaries, so adventurers are welcome, especially ones that fend off bandits. Xuta’s most frequent trade partners are the Tarimic and Kivosian Empires, but the Tarimians are truly considered allies, which strains relations with Great Kivosia.
