Tarimic Empire

The oldest human-dominated realm in Bilorr today, the Tarimic Empire rules over the southeast of that continent. It was formed in the wake of a revolution that toppled the Livokian Empire, and soon conquered many of the Livokian provinces. Today the empire still battles Livokians, but new enemies such as Qista, Elonn, and especially the Great Kivosian Empire have risen as well. Besides its achievements in war, the Tarimic Empire has made fine jewelry and sturdy boats.
The capital, Glezan, is the Nexus' second largest and possesses advanced architecture. Tarim's population is mostly a mixture of Livokian-descended hobgoblins and humans native and foreign, though elves, minotaurs, and goblins make up significant minorities. In recent years, the empire has been plagued by piracy, corrupt senators, and the rise of a secret society of necromancers.
