Nyreban Empire
The Nyreban Empire in western Avasi is known for its philosophy, art, and its use of magical constructs. These are used for menial tasks by mages and the wealthy, but also to support the army, which is famed for its deadly elephantine cavalry. Nyreba often battles the nearby Idojan and Solirian empires, but avoids conflict with Nehi due to that realm's magical advancement. The empire has recently begun to exchange knowledge with Nehi and Great Kivosia, though there is some tension as Nehi was a rival to Nyreba's predecessor. Nyreba frequently trades with Gukam, Morund, and Nefer, and cultural influence has gone both ways between these realms. Yrebese and Audrenese dwarves are fairly common, as well as centaurs from the Ashva Steppe to the east, but humans are the most ubiquitous.
