Antumbral Plane

"It’s my favorite out of them all! I spent what felt like years there adventuring! Turns out though it was only two weeks."
-Finkin Shadowquick
In stark contrast to the Umbral Plane of shadows and death, the Antumbral Plane is full of light, life and laughter. The Antumbral plane is home to fantastical creatures of all shapes and sizes. Elvenkind, Goblinkin, and all manner of Fey call the Antumbral Plane home. The Antumbral Plane has an innate connection with the continent known as The Reach in a similar manner as the Umbral Plane does on the Veruun Provinces and so Fey races can often be found intermingling with normal Zorian species there. This makes the Reach one of the most eclectic and diverse regions of Zor.   The plane itself is, much like the Umbral Plane, a reflection of the Material world. But where darkness and death reign in the Umbral, light and life hold sway in the Antumbral. It is nearly always dawn or midday in the plane and when night does fall it is short and sweet.   All of this is not to say that the Antumbral Plane is safe for travelers. The weather on the plane is heavily influenced by the primal magic of its denizens and it is often understood that the weather can change dramatically based on the moods of powerful Fey. Monsoons, hurricanes and gale force winds are common and yet wholly unpredictable. The land itself is nearly as chaotic - humid jungles butt up against coniferous forests and desert plains neighbor icy mountains. And it’s not entirely impossible that the landscape could shuffle around on a whim. Additionally, time moves strangely in the Antumbral. So much so that most denizens don’t even know their age. Many of them are centuries old, the magic of the plane granting them eternal youth.
