The Ryukyu Kingdom

Far to the east of the The Empire of Valun, lies the island nation of the Ryukyu. Contact between the mysterious Ryukyu and other nations has been minimal at best. However, as of late, there has been an influx of trade between nations, and the outside world has become more familiar with their culture. It is known that they are ruled under a feudal system by an emperor (known as the Shogun), and local lords (daimyo). The people of the Ryukyu are known for their incredibly powerful warrior spirit.
