The Empire of Valun

The largest nation in the world, Valun, is goverened from a city of its namesake. It was named after the alliance general who lead the army against the Princes of Darkness. The Empire is also the most geographically diverse, with massive forests, vast mountain ranges, and to the south, the Grand Desert. It is governed under a feudal system, with the Emperor remaining in control as a central figure head. From the old Elven Capital, Rylemel, to the rediscovered Halfling capital Cliffshadow, the empire's cities are extremely cosmopolitan. The people of the Empire are incredibly diverse.
Although it's monarchy has been human for generations, it is debated what race the alliance's General Valun hailed from. It is generally accepted that Valun was human, but there are movements that claim he was either an orc or an elf.
