Basic Information

Anatomy

In many aspects they look a lot like humans. Two legs, two arms and one head. On their feet they have claws, and this is the same on their hands.

Genetics and Reproduction

The women of the Odarul give birth to one young in their entire life, which makes every loss of a life that much harder on the community

Growth Rate & Stages

The Odarul also grow a bit faster than humans. They are full-grown at the age of fourteen so that young Odaruls are more able to defend themselves.

Ecology and Habitats

Odarul live in vast forests under the largest trees, named Espírita'rbores.

Social Structure

The Odarul live in small communities, called tribes. Every tribe has its own leader, who can be a man or a woman. However, every leader of the tribe has to listen to the Council of Oda, which is made up of the eldest member of every tribe, so that every tribe has a voice on the council.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Odaruls can be found all over Siekzinea, and especially near the Espírita'rbores.

Average Intelligence

They are, in some ways, one with the world all around them. They do not kill a living creature without a good reason. Usually it is out of self-defense, or for food, but never more than they need.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

All the Odarul have what they call a third eye, which allows them to see heat waves.

Naming Traditions

The names of the Odarul are usually symbolized by something in nature. Men are usually named after stars and celestial bodies.

• Stra {Name of a consolation}

Women are usually named after plants or animals.

• Diasa {Large flower that eats meat}
• Naba {Dangerous animal}
• Kimé {Some kind of fish}

There are also smaller tribes. But most of these tribes are having an alliance with one of the seven larger ones. These alliances can exist trough marriage, Odarul coin or military advantage.
However, every tribe is represented in the Council of Oda.

Common Dress Code

An Odarul dresses light and comfortable in the warm climate. The women are always wearing something to cover their upper body, this is not the case by men.
The clothes are made from plant friendly material or/and animal skin.
The colors of their clothing always matches their skin.

History

At the present time, the Odarul are living in peace. This was not always the case. After the Odarul found  Swiot wars broke out, because every tribe had some type of claim over the substance. After 10 years of war, the elders of every tribe pleaded for peace. Because many young lives were lost, every tribe agreed to this. 
After the Swiot Wars, the Odarul avoided the substance. It was seen as an omen for bad news and was used as a warning. After the wars the Council of Oda was created to uphold the peace between the tribes.

Their skin can vary between bright green, to mossy brown.
