History

When the temples started to appear on Atlas Temple, this ritual started almost right after that. At first, they used chicken, a normal type of meat. But after a decade, the High Priest of Atlas of that time decided that he wanted to make this ritual more special. And this is why they started to use Spatium interfectorem cete (Space Killer Whales) meat. They didn't hunt the animals, That would be suicide. They waited until they found one death and carved it up. From that moment, the priests and priestesses serve the new Space Discoverers a piece of pickled Space Killer Whale meat.

Execution

The new Space Discoverers come to the temple after the service at noon, they are guided by one of the priests or priestesses to the room behind the large statue of Atlas. There they meet the High Priest of Atlas, he speaks a prayer combined with Jasmin incense. The prayer is complete in Latin. After the prayer the new Space Discoverers get a piece of pickled meat, that they need to eat before leaving the room. After the ceremony the new Space Discoverers have the freedom to party, until 12 hours before they are assigned to their new duties.

Observance
