Fire Manipulation
He can control any fire around him as well as ignite fire on himself. He cannot be burned even by the hottest fires, and his natural body temperature is higher than the average person. When he's angry, his temperature will rise to the point where if someone were to touch him they would get burned. He can freely manipulate fire and do things such as tossing it around, making it grow, blasts of fire, pillars of fire, etc. Really up to his imagination. Even in freezing winter temperatures, he can go outside in nothing but a t-shirt and shorts and not be cold because his body will maintain its high temperature. Even the blazing heat of summer doesn't faze him. Water users can be a problem for him, but his fire can burn hot enough to evaporate any water they use if they can't conjure up enough, and same for ice users. People with psychic type powers are usually the most troublesome, especially telekinesis type ones. And if you can out-think him and his fire and use strategy instead of brute strength, you can probably kick his ass.

Grew up with an abusive alcoholic father, and a mother who did nothing but accept the abuse. Lived in the low class area of the city and dropped out of high school at 14 to join a gang, but then moved from gang to gang before finally being found by Shinya.

History
They met through a drunken one night stand, and Taishi quickly became infatuated with him. Though Taishi was unaware that Himeno was a bit underage, and didn't learn until he was head over heels for Himeno. Taishi thought Himeno was at least 18 or 19 by the way he acted, and since he had been in a bar. Through some honest courting, he managed to start dating Himeno. Taishi is greatly in love with Himeno and will announce it to the world, while Himeno is still a bit shy but loves his dork of a boyfriend.
