Zena Markali
Zena Markali, also known as “Zeo-Killer Zena,” is a Pact mercenary based primarily in the Khau's Haven heliosphere. She is associated with various Pact organizations, such as the Outer Spheres Shipping Union and Tri-Moon Militia. At forty-eight years old, she is a veteran of several major conflicts, including the Atrabas Uprising and the Trinitor Campaign, as well as innumerable smaller operations. Her thirty-eight confirmed zeo kills have earned her multiple active bounties from pirate syndicates, corporations, and GuardCorps affiliates.
As an operative, Zena typically works with a pair of scouts that reconnoiter enemy zeoforms or provide security for her while she moves along the frontline. Once a target has been spotted, Zena reportedly consults a battered digi-codex, which contains her extensive notes on zeoform models, armor, vulnerabilities, and resistances. The specialized information in this codex has been claimed by various corporate spokespeople to contain confidential data stolen from R&D materials labs, as well as engineer maintenance reports extracted from hacked terminals.
Once prepared and in position, Zena’s suite of highly customized zeotech allows her to visualize a zeoform as a patchwork of “hot” and “cold” areas, with “hotspots” representing more vulnerable pieces of armor or machinery. According to former scouts, Zena prefers overclocked beamer weaponry that delivers short, accurate, high-energy fire. According to Zena herself, custom cyber-augmentations in her arms and shoulders automatically adjust her shots for distance, atmospheric conditions, and gravitational distortion, allowing her to achieve accuracy to within 1-2 centimeters.
