TEAMSTR Z-Links
TEAMSTR is a bundle of zeotech hardware and software based on the TEAM (short for Technical Experience And Mastery) series of neural-interface systems, which were originally developed for integrationist communities to rapidly transfer complex skills and muscle memory from experienced craftspeople to trainees.
TEAMSTR allows for users to link their minds into a distributed network that not only coordinates their actions, but optimizes their timing and task prioritization. Users describe the experience as “loosening their grip” on their own bodies to allow them to act almost autonomously, though each user remains fully capable of overriding their assigned course of action, such as in the case of an emergency.
TEAMSTR also enables limited peripheral sensory input from other networked users, which can manifest in an entire infantry squad simultaneously diving for cover after one soldier spots an incoming rocket. This sensory input must be carefully tuned, otherwise the pain of an injury can be shared across multiple users of the network.
