‘Kulaq’ Master-rig Zeoform
Chambert's Guide to Defense - Episode 14
By all accounts, the Pact’s ‘Kulaq’ Master-Rig is derived from zeoform designs intended to operate in high-gravity and high-pressure environments, including gas giant mining.
In contrast to the generally tall, thin appearance of Pact designs, the Kulaq is notably short and squat with a large, elongated ovoid body and thick legs.
It is strong for its size and can be outfitted with a Protocol weapon on the dorsal position, but in comparison to the Amaroq Master-Rig, the Kulaq is both slower and less agile.
A flexible tool mounting point is located on each side of the body where a limited selection of ranged and close combat weapons can be fitted with relative ease.
Some fundamental issue appears to limit the Kulaq’s weaponry choices. To date, every Kulaq recorded has carried a close combat and a ranged weapon and no cases of ‘doubling up’ have been witnessed.
Whether this is due to power supply or cultural bias remains unknown.
